Abstract
Vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) is a research field that is attracting growing attention. Rapid topology changes and frequent link disconnection makes it difficult to design an efficient routing protocol for routing data among vehicles. Because of these characteristics, routing protocols based on greedy forwarding are known to be very suitable for VANET. This paper introduces major greedy routing protocols for VANET, and defines some issues and possible directions for VANET routing protocols.
