  • Abstract
    To study the application of rectangular ranging, this paper proposes the ant algorithm based upon the lowest contour, which makes full use of the information on rectangular and seeks for the best sequence by the ant algorithm on the basis of the lowest contour algorithm. The experiment data demonstrate that this method facilitates to find optimization in a rapid and efficient manner, and the results are highly practical. Moreover, it possesses great research value in the aspect of enhancing the material´s utility ratio, as well as increasing the economic benefits of the manufacturing factories.
