Abstract :
Dispatching managements information system (DMIS) receives real-time data from real-time systems and provides service for outer systems. Advanced technologies of network security are expected to be adopted in power system, whereas need modifying so as to be adaptable to real-time requirements. Compatible measures that should be taken to eliminate the insecure potential hazards now existing in DMIS are proposed in this paper. To avoid from being monitored and scanned, hosts in DMIS are reinforced by corresponding software and optimized configuration. Structure of firewall is discussed in order to preventing DMIS from being attacked by exterior networks. A new method of encryption, which combing 3DES/IDEA with ECC is proposed to be adopted by DMIS. By researching current protocols of information security, the paper suggests compound protocols for virtual private network in DMIS. Authentication based on fingerprint also can be applied into DMIS to enhance authentication in power system
