  • Abstract
    This paper deals with the closed loop system called Adaptive Time Delay Estimation (ATDE) for estimating time delay between two signals is presented. The simulation of this algorithm accomplished by using MathCAD package are carried out. The technique that we will present this work is based on the error between two samples of the incoming signal the difference between the delayed signal and the reference signal passed through a known delay as performance index for the estimator. The algorithm adaptively controls the delay, so as to minimize the mean square of this error. Derivation of the algorithm is presented as well as several tests of different cases are carried out.
