Abstract :
Quality is the most vital problem of highway construction, interfered by a lot of uncertainty factors. This paper reviews the previous studies about the quality risk of highway construction, and proposes a causal relationship chart model of the quality risk by integrating casual theory and QSIM. Finally, an example is used to demonstrate the entire risk evolution triggered by changes in one quality factor, simulating the evolution process in accordance with the reality. The application indicates that the proposed method can be served as a useful experiment tool for decision making in facing risks by highway construction project team.
