Abstract
The basic properties of the power system topological spaces (PSTSs) are investigated. Power system equations, the topological structure of PSTS, the PSTSs and the mappings on them, and application examples are presented. Based on several assumptions, PSTS is proven to be a manifold and the PSTSs for different study domains are related as a space and its contractible kernel. The solutions introduced by the vector field on different PSTSs are homotopic
