Abstract :
Distance measurement by ultrasonic is an effective and noninvasive method, and it can be used in a great variety kinds of fields that need to range or ascertain location parameters. This paper studies the development of a TMS320C5416 DSP-based ultrasonic range finder. It generally specifies the theoretical foundation of ultrasonic distance measurement, introduces the software and hardware design of the system.
