Abstract :
This paper describes a sensorless position and speed detection algorithm designed for permanent magnet synchronous motor drives. Its principle is inspired by two existing techniques. The aim is to elaborate an estimator able to cancel any initial position error and robust toward DC disturbance measured within the back-EMF. These specifications are realized by using a proportional-integral controller and an improved integrator in the estimation procedure. Experimental results are presented to show the realization of the objectives
