Abstract :
In the context of the increasing importance of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), the near-field shielding characteristics of a perforated conducting screen are analyzed. A specific geometry for the evaluation of the shielding performance is proposed, based on two loop probes. The method makes it possible to obtain good insight in the near-field distribution of the transmitted radiation. An excellent relationship between measurement results and simulated predictions is obtained
