Abstract :
In this paper theoretical basis of the strong formulation of the finite element method for closed problems is presented. Its results for 2D quasi-static analysis of transmission lines with homogeneous and non-homogeneous, isotropic and anisotropic substrate are presented. Obtained results are compared with results obtained by other methods. This paper presents an overview of the doctoral dissertations of the first author.
