Abstract
This article deals with the modelling and simulation of the subsynchronous cascade using the Ku-stator transformation to obtain a two/three phase model of the machine which preserves intact the three electrical phases of the rotor. This asynchronous machine model lends itself perfectly to the variable-topology microscopic model of the rectifier in order to give the complete model of the cascade, which, forming a rigid system, is then integrated by the method of canonical variables (or normal form)
