Abstract :
The paper presents a d-q model for the study of the steady-state performances of a capacitor induction motor, in which account is taken of the mutual interaction between space harmonics of magnetic conductivity and magnetomotive forces. The model is based upon crossfield theory and a method of harmonic analysis for the air gap permeance. Performance characteristics for a capacitor induction motor are computed. The mathematical model has sufficient accuracy of calculation
