Abstract :
Considering the difference between hydroelectric power and thermal power, as well as the cost function and the profit function of hydroelectric power and thermal power and the demand of customers under electric power market environments, we set up the economic dispatching model of hydro-therm system and deduce the necessary conditions for hydro-thermal system optimum economic dispatch, and from which we could deduce the optimum unit output of each hydroelectricity generation and thermal plant in each period of one day. We also give the introduction of the software solving this simulation. Finally, a case is applied to simulate this model in the real hydro-thermal economic dispatch under the market environments and prove the possibility of "win" among the hydroelectricity, thermal and power grid through the hydro-thermal economic dispatch under the power market environments
