Abstract
This paper studies a new type of dependent channel errors and examine its effect on the performance of the three basic ARQ protocols. The errors occur in burst and affect a random number of consecutive bits. Previously the error analysis was done on packet basis. Most prior works concentrate only on the throughput performance analysis, while in our work delay performance is also analysed
