Abstract
The control system of high temperature and pressure dilatometer is designed for research of shale expansion in well drilling test. Under the control of this system, dilatometer can simulate the temperature and pressure environment of bottom-hole, and measure the expansion increment and expansion rate of water-absorbing shale real-time, which provide an effective means of measurement for optimization of anti-collapse mud and treatment. The test result will be processed, stored, and printed out by the computer. It is more accurate to use PID algorithm to maintain the temperature within a definite error tolerance.
