Knowledge sources of innovation and theirs impact on innovation

Trough analyzing knowledge sources of innovation, the paper splits the knowledge sources of innovation into external and internal knowledge sources and describes the characteristics and functions of different source. After summarizing and analyzing the impact of different source on innovation, the study finds different source shows different importance to innovation. However, about the importance of different knowledge sources on innovation, current studies do not come to an agreement, which shows further research is necessary to draw more meaningful conclusions.
