Abstract
A charge pump circuit operating under a novel principle along with a CMOS implementation is presented. The circuit is composed of a cascade of voltage adders where each cell provides the pumped voltage and all necessary clocks to the following cell. All capacitors are initially precharged to the supply voltage and then connected in series. Neglecting parasitic effects, the output voltage measured at the top plate of the last capacitor is the sum of each capacitor voltage
