Abstract :
Graphics generation and display play a very important role in all functions of equipments on aircraft platform. Effective, accurate and real-time display of graphics flight parameters is an indispensable requirement for high-performance aircraft. In this paper, a graphics function lib based on OpenGL ES specification is detailedly introduced, which is designed to run on given special embedded graphics hardware. Therewith developers can simply write OpenGL-like C code on the embedded graphics platforms, which will greatly avoid the disadvantages of coding directly with the machine instruction. Experiments show that the graphics lib based on OpenGL ES specification can commendably satisfy the various request of the aircraft platform and it gives an instructive use for reference to analogous embedded graphics systems.
