  • Abstract
    This work presents simple but complete SCADA solution that provides whole set of functionalities and tools required to develop even complex industrial applications. Still, dScada is primarily an educational and research environment for all students or engineers entering the world of data acquisition and industrial control. Main motivation for dScada development is need for a SCADA system suitable for educational purposes, simple yet usable and complete. Its design is based on a set of industrial SCADA standards, long term experience in this area, and analysis of several well-known commercial solutions. As a result, dScada provides clear architecture, great performance, simple configuration and use, and excellent extensibility for future improvements.
