Abstract :
A microprocessor unit has been developed that monitors a PV power plant through the public telephone network and with a Mintel terminal; records the battery voltage, the temperature, and operation parameters; and has a mean power of about 75 mW with automatic wake-up operation mode. This device is currently operating at various sites, and the first results demonstrate its effectiveness from the technical, economical, and psychological points of view
