Abstract
In wireless sensor network, nodes localization is the basis to communicate effectively, and it is the key technology to improve the nodes location accuracy. This paper analyzes the conventional algorithms in positioning nodes coordinate (maximum likelihood estimation, weighted least squares, kalman filter algorithm), and this paper proposes an improved algorithm for nodes localization in wireless sensor network: an algorithm based on conjugate gradient. In certain prior assumptions, the basic principle and method of this algorithm are given. This paper analyzes and compares their performances, it is proved by the simulation of matlab that the conjugate gradient algorithm is more accurate than the classical algorithms; a new idea is provided to improve the positioning precision.
