  • Abstract
The authors discuss the preliminary sensor characteristics for Landsat 7. Features discussed are temporal resolution, stereo data, data delivery, and data continuity. Market growth projections by major market sector are presented. The market is also reviewed in terms of the product mix related to sensor type, resolution, and timeliness of delivery. The $6-billion remote-sensing market project for the ten-year period ending in 1995 is reevaluated based on the results of market studies, which are summarized
