Abstract
This paper analyzes the causes of lifetime reduction for hydrogen PEM fuel cells used as power sources in electric power trains with different hybrid configurations. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is utilized to investigate the possible phenomena responsible of fuel cell performance degradation in dependence of the particular hybrid configuration adopted.
