  • Abstract
This paper presents the validated results from a vehicle simulator, developed in Matlab/Simulink, and as a real time version on a dSpace platform. This research is based on the dual power net concept proposed in the EE-VERT project. The concept involves overall energy management, electrification of auxiliary systems and high efficiency electrical power generation in order to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This concept can be applied from micro-hybrids through to full hybrids and even electrical vehicles, especially concerning energy management.
