Abstract

To solve the problems of students management in university, this paper applied GIS to develop a Web-based students MIS suitable to university. Combined with the actual situation of Henan University of Urban Construction, the system adopted B/S and C/S union structure and took Microsoft Visual Studio.NET as a platform, using the C#.net language and MapX component as main tools. It not only realized the functions of data management and spatial analysis, but also connected the school and parents, which can greatly promote the management and service level.
