Abstract :
Unlike conventional drive system, torque as well as the power and speed can be directly Supplied to the wheel using a hub motor. This arrangement eliminates the gear and need for mechanical differentials. Outer -rotor type multi polar switched reluctance hub motor suited for many emerging Application for electric drive system. In this switched reluctance hub (SRHM) is controlled by two diode per phase provides (or) Asymmetric bridge converter. The high speed-coupler sensor used here provides an accurate measurement of actual rotor position necessary for proper commutation of our converter circuit.
