Abstract :
A decoding algorithm for burst errors of Hermitian code is presented. We can combine several Reed-Solomon codes in a way similar to which the Hermitian code is formed, which can also be used to combine the codes optimally under this decoding procedure. The constructed new codes is also of great importance to the generalised Reed-Muller code. We demonstrate the relations between the algebraic geometric code and the Reed-Muller code
