Abstract :
In this paper, the uplink performance for the multi-cell multicarrier code-division multiple-access (MC-CDMA) systems under imperfect power control is analyzed. A simple method of bit error rate (BER) evaluation is presented based on the interference statistics analysis. Both of the influence of power control errors and channel propagation parameters on the uplink average BER is studied. Results show that the uplink average BER for the multi-cell MC-CDMA systems is evidently affected by the imperfection of power control and the shadowing standard deviations.
