Abstract :
In this paper, network simulation tool NS2 were studied, and NS2 extension methods and multicast routing implementation mechanism were analyzed. Source Specific Multicast with the principle of aggregation, in the NS2 to add a new class of AggSSM gathered to support Source Specific Multicast simulation, using OTcl language and C++ language AggSSM class data structures, methods and operations are defined to complete the expansion of Source Specific Multicast gathered at the NS2 platform.
