Abstract :
Mobile learning has revolutionised the scenario of teaching-learning by empowering the learner to learn whatever, wherever and whenever. An earlier study revealed the learners´ perceptions and positive attitude towards adopting mobile phones as an access device for learning. In this preliminary feedback study on the mature learners and PICs of PGDCC programme of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has thrown light on the success and the benefit of mobile phones as learner support devices. Attempts are afoot at IGNOU to exploit mobile technology in a big way for learners´ support-academic and otherwise.
