Abstract
Though test procedures specified by standards bodies provide direction in the technical steps that are to be taken in performing a large-system EMC test, the management of such a project has not been widely discussed. In the case of a large distributed system, the organization, preparation and test execution become a logistical challenge. This paper reviews experience in performing such tests, provides observations on the planning process, and gives recommendations to regulatory engineers and developers who plan to perform an EMC test on a such a large scale
