Abstract
Secretary problem is one of the sequential observation and selection problem. Which essence is to decide when to stop the observation, rather than which option is selected. Counting rules is one of effective method which hold precise target probability and few cognitive efforts. Three rules, including cutoff, candidate and non-candidate, were compared through its efficiency by simulation experiment in this paper. The contribution of this paper is directing human decision.
