Abstract :
This paper advances Linux network computer model based on Loongson Mipsel architecture, from the aspect of computer architecture. This paper develops the target system and Debian/Linux operating system for Loongson network computers, with the thought of software engineering. This paper examines the results of practical operations during implementation phase. Our data demonstrates that Loongson network computer has a considerable advantage compared with other similar products from all aspects of overall system performance, security, power and cost. This research result has been promoted in series of Loongson "MyLoong" computers.
