Abstract :
This paper proposes an analytical model for the transmission delay of HARQ-ARQ interaction mechanisms in the IEEE 802.16m system. In this analysis, we include the impact of the problem caused by errors of the HARQ feedback message. The analytical and simulation results show the transmission delay performance of the IEEE 802.16m system with and without the HARQ-ARQ interaction mechanisms.
