Abstract :
The pole and yoke flux waveforms for a prototype switched reluctance motor (SRM) are presented. These flux waveforms are obtained from measured voltage signals from search coils, installed inside the SRM during its construction, through a numerical integration routine. Harmonic components for both of these flux waveforms are also presented along with eddy current loss and hysteresis loss coefficients
