Abstract :
An Er:YAG laser is used to pump a walk-off compensated AgGaSe/sub 2/ OPO to efficiently generate radiation in the 5.5-7 /spl mu/m regions. Preliminary results show generation of energy exceeding 10 mJ/pulse at 6.1 /spl mu/m.
