Abstract
In this paper we evaluate the performance of WMN-HC system for node placement in WMNs. For evaluation we considered different number of mesh routers and mesh clients. We considered four different mesh client distributions. The simulation results show that our proposed and implemented WMN-HC system can find the optimal number of mesh routers for covering a given number of mesh clients deployed in a given grid area. For Exponential and Uniform distribution of mesh clients, the full coverage of mesh clients can be done with less routers compared with other distributions.
