Abstract :
Investigates the structure of linear block codes defined over cyclic groups Zq (q=pL with p prime), i.e., of the subgroups of (Zq)n. Bounds on the Euclidean distance of block-coded modulation schemes associated with these codes are also provided, along with some examples of these schemes
