Abstract :
The paper investigates the optimum code search problem of multidimensional MPSK trellis codes for fading channels. New set partitioning schemes are proposed for fading channels by using effective code length and minimum product distance as the code design criteria. Based on these set partitioning rules, a number of optimum multidimensional MPSK trellis codes have been obtained
