Abstract
The paper presents a new topology for a three-phase power factor corrector (PFC) which results in reduced voltage and current stresses on the switches. The resonant input converter uses two power switches which work in zero voltage switching (ZVS) condition and a current transformer which helps to reduce the current stress on switches. The simulation and experimental waveforms obtained on a converter are presented. The total harmonic distortion (THD) of the input current is less than 8%
