Abstract :
The data acquisition (DAQ) system of the new Beijing spectrometer (BESIII) need handle the high data rates, high speed network transmission and high storage capability requirements. The design and implementation of the BESIII online computing farm with blade server, Linux and other free software are presented. The computing farm is running well currently in the cosmic ray tests, able to meet the needs of BESIII experiment and achieved some important results as online software debugging and testing platform.
