Abstract :
The achievable exponential behavior (reliability) of decoding-delay limited communication systems is analyzed for several settings, and compared to the case where the delay constraint is relaxed. The effect of the delay constraint on the reliability of random block and convolutional codes without and with Ack/Nack feedback is investigated and interesting conclusions are presented
