Abstract :
We present an algorithm for the construction of signal sets matched to abelian and non-abelian groups based on the concept of the closed d-chain. This algorithm fixes and extends the proof of the theorem by Slepian (1968) on d-chains, and extends the result of Loeliger (1991) on signal sets matched to groups
