Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel correlation function with no side-peak for synchronization of composite binary offset carrier (CBOC) signals. We first propose novel local signals, and then, propose an unambiguous correlation function by combining the correlations between the received signal and the local signals. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed correlation function has no side-peak and provides a better power ratio performance than the CBOC autocorrelation.
