Abstract :
A new space-time block code, named ABCD code, is presented in this paper. ABCD code combines the structure characteristics of the Alamoutipsilas code and the threaded algebraic space-time block code and has full-diversity, whose transmission rate is 2 symbols per channel use for four transmit antennas. Because of full transmit diversity, ABCD code can provides a good performance at high SNR and also has larger second-order mutual information which guarantees a superior performance at low SNP.
