Abstract :
Based on the YC6L260-40 diesel engine gravitation characteristics, the paper researches 100 km-fuel consumption curve of the 5-gear 12m city bus running with the constant speed and the four-cycle running schedule. According with the economization rules and the enterprise standards of the bus, It analyzes and matches all performance parameters of the transmit system. The optimal matched parameters are gotten on MATLAB software based on the demand of Maximum Speed, Maximum Grad ability and the permitted Specific Power range. The matched parametres of the calculation and optimization simulation for the city bus fuel economy on MATLAB can meet the design demand.
