Abstract
This paper describes the clinical document architecture (CDA) authoring tool (CDA Studio) which can be used for developing CDA documents in clinical environment. It provides easy-to-use interfaces for editing CDA templates and connecting legacy information systems. In this paper, we describe the architectures and functions of CDA studio. After finishing a prototype of CDA studio, we developed the entry mapper for generating CDA entry level. We tested the performance of the entry mapper using 500 patient records. The mapping results showed the accuracy of 61%for the medication sections, and 87% for the diagnosis sections.
