Abstract :
Digital document management has become a challenge with the amplified size of digital documents on World Wide Web (WWW). Although information exists on WWW but users are afflicted from the problem in finding task related, domain specific personalized information from WWW. In this context current work describes a novel concept of links into the future. This is more than finding related domain specific documents from WWW. When a user is reading a research paper, user is provided a link within the focused document for future papers written by same team of authors in the same area. The role of ontology has been focused to represent the links into the future. Different ontologies for authors, publications and publication´s future links have been explained independently and then these independent ontologies have been merged in an ontological model to realize the concept of links into future.
