Abstract :
The contact problem of single-row four point contact ball type slewing bearing, which is exposed to bearing radial load and axial load, was analyzed with Hertz theory. Then VC program of the slewing bearing was given according to calculation formula of contact stress, contact angle and deformation. Taking hydraulic excavators as example, the contact stress and contact angle were calculated in different conditions. The influencing factor of contact stress of slewing bearing was analyzed. And then the means was given to prevent slewing bearing failure as reference.
