Abstract :
In this paper, analyzing the steering knuckle of the main operating conditions, the structural analysis of ultimate working conditions is studied by use of MSC. Patran/Nastran software for the steering knuckle. Based on the ADAMS software, the multi-body dynamics analysis of the suspension structure is completed, and the bearing load under the actual working conditions is obtained. Strength analysis results in this condition are compared to those of ultimate working conditions to confirm the main failure style of steering knuckle as fatigue damage and put forward the direction of further improvement.
